Culture Overview
Join Our Team, and Grow a Culture Unlike Any Other
Kokolakis has always been built on people. As an employee-owned company, everyone here has a real stake in the work and that shared investment shapes everything from how we show up on a job site to how we treat each other off of it.
We look out for one another, give back to the communities we build in, and take pride in what we do together. That’s not something you can put in a policy. It’s just who we are.

Details About Our Internships

Who They’re For
Kokolakis internships are available to current college students enrolled in construction management programs. We actively recruit from universities with strong construction and engineering programs, primarily in FL and NY.
When They Happen
Most Kokolakis internships run for approximately 10-12 weeks during the summer. However, additional opportunities are sometimes available through the academic year depending on project needs and student availability.
How to Get Started
Candidates can apply through their university’s career platforms. After reviewing applications, our HR team at Kokolakis conduct screening calls and interviews to determine the best placement within our company.
Community Involvement
Our Commitment to Community
Kokolakis is committed to being an involved, active community member. That includes repaying the generosity and support we’re given through volunteer and philanthropic efforts.
Each year, our company contributes to charitable causes with which our team members are personally connected, either through local events or through the Kokolakis Foundation. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the people and places connected to our work.

The completion of major renovations to historic Cullum Hall at @westpoint_usma was celebrated this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of the Kokolakis team. Originally constructed between 1893 and 1898 through a gift from Maj. Gen. George W. Cullum, the hall was built to commemorate West Point graduates and “give elevation to the military profession.”
This complex and challenging restoration effort required extensive coordination and craftsmanship to preserve the building’s historic character while supporting improvements that will help protect West Point’s archival collections and history for generations to come. Kokolakis is honored to have played a role in preserving this important piece of history.
